Outreach

St. John and St. Mary Christian Outreach Committee

MISSION:  The mission of the Christian Outreach Committee is to share the love of Christ through service to the poor.  This takes many forms, including donations of cash and goods (food, clothing, school supplies and books) to meet their needs.  The Outreach Committee generally focuses its efforts on local community needs, extending from Westchester County to New York City.  However, the Committee has donated funds to support missionaries as far away as Central America.

COMMITTEE:  The Committee is comprised of members of the Parish who volunteer their time to support the activities of the Committee.

OUTREACH SUNDAYS:  One weekend each month donations of cash, food and other items are collected after each Mass.   In addition, donations may be left in the kitchen at the Parish Center at any time.
